Our current product offering for billing and scheduling is called inServio as authored by Medical Office Solutions. It has been designed from the ground up for the Windows and SQL data base environment. It provides a simple but highly functional scheduling system including the ability to block out time providers are unavailable on either an ad-hoc or permanent basis. Thus, your schedulers know precisely by looking at a single screen when a patient may be matched up to a provider's availability. Also, our patient billing statement is the most readable in the industry, showing all charges, adjustments, and payments and the calculation that results in a well illustrated patient-owed amount. When you mail statements from inServio, patients understand what they owe, pay that amount, and cease swamping your phone lines for explanations.
You can choose to have inServio on your computer or on our computer and accessible through high-speed Internet. We will set up inServio if you wish to perform only scheduling in the office and arrange for a billing service to handle your data entry and claims processing. And all of this can be changed or moved should your organization or computing needs change! Flexibility is key - we have it and pass that flexibility on to you!
We are a Colorado company dedicated to Colorado physicians. If you are anywhere in Colorado (Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, Northern Colorado, Glenwood Springs, or Durango for example), we will gladly visit your offices for implementation and training. Using high-speed Internet, we can access your network and perform routine software maintenance and updates for you. Geography is no longer an issue. We also currently service medical offices in Wyoming, New Mexico, and Utah.

MHS recommends Electronic Network Systems for electronic claims. Our programs (the old MedAssist program and the new inServio) export a claims file to the ENS Health-e-Claims Web site. This enables you to send your claim file via high-speed Internet and then view and correct any errors detected. Since Health-e-Claims is a Web-enabled service, there is nothing to set up on your computer - you just need a Web browser for Internet access. If you already use their service, we can arrange for an interface from inServio so that your electronic claims operation remains unchanged. Health-e-Claims also provides reports from ENS as to the status of claims. ENS also offers enhanced services such as on-line insurance verification and claims tracking. Later in 2007, we will be offering a service that will allow you to accept and post an electronic EOB into your inServio program, saving HOURS of data entry time. Electronic Medical Records
inServio offers an HL7 interface - meaning that data may be exchanged with any Electronic Medical Record program or voice system on the market. We do not market or support any EMR at the moment due to current uncertainty as to which suppliers are long-term viable. The strength of inServio is in the areas of billing, claims processing, scheduling, recall, prescriptions, and financial reporting. We can assure you that your needs will be met in those areas. Current EMR software often services the clinical needs of some specialties more effectively than others. We recommend that you search out an EMR that has proven successful in your type of practice. We will interface to that program using our HL7 interface and guarantee a successful implementation of inServio and a smooth, error-free interface to your EMR of choice.
